Lee Adams and Matthew and James Hucker took Gold, Silver and Bronze at the high grades championships held in Walsall at the weekend.
Lee Adams won all his fights with ease, beating second and sixth dans on the way with straight ippons in the masters event. Lee then stood back and watched his players, Matthew Hucker and James Hucker, fight.
Matthew fought in the 4th dan and above open weight group where he took the most points on the day with the highest scoring wins, as well as beating the gold medallist. However he only took Silver, as Matthew lost against the 135kg player that everyone else happened to beat.
James Hucker took Bronze, having fought the longest fights with little recovery time, James still managed to win the Bronze medal fight with an ippon running on empty, completing a straight flush of medals in every colour.
