Midsomer Norton Target Shooting Club made history this year, when they claimed their first County League win in the Club's history.
The Club's A Team, featuring Dan Warren, Matt Clement, Tony Clement and Kev York, triumphed in the winter league, which involves firing .22 calibre target rifles on indoor ranges. The Club's C Team, one of four representing our area, also had cause to celebrate, winning Somerset Division Five.
Teams from across the county compete in the postal league, where cards are shot at each Club's home range and collated by an independent County official. The Club's success has been made complete by A Team member, Dan Warren, winning the Somerset Open competition. Dan will now represent Somerset at the Champion of Champions event held at the National Championships in Bisley, later this year.
