'The Waders' won a game devoid of plenty of chances and too much pretty football, with little goal threats by either side.

Sam Ives had the first chance for the home side on five minutes, before Scott

Wilson respnded, shooting wide four minutes later. Brandon Barnes' fre kick was easily held by Ian Brown, but Biggleswade came into the game and, after twenty minutes, they took the lead.

The lively Zane Banton dribbled, turned and twisted, before shooting across and past Kyle Phillips to make it 1–0.

Misplaced passes were Paulton's undoing, despite debutant, Adam Flint, pushing down the left with several crosses held by Brown.

With minutes remaining of the first half, Josh Klein-Davies blasted over after

Jordan Walker neatly set him up.

Paulton dominated large periods of the second half, with Ash Wiliams and Mike Bryant testing Brown, who was alert to parry the ball away. Town had Cam Mawer sent off for a second yellow for fouling Scott Wilson. Banton was a menace down the right and twice shot wide. Williams fed substitute, Elliott Gibbons, who ran goalwards and hit wide with the Waders' defence caught on the back foot. Banton brought a good save from Phillips and with minutes left, Gibbons had a shot blocked and Bryant was stopped by Brown.
