Following last weeks' local derby win, Norton entertained Corsham RFC at Norton Down, intending to carry on their winning ways.
The game started in bright sunshine, with a large crowd of former players on the sidelines. These were entertained with the side producing a confident, free flowing game of rugby and a total of eleven tries.
The backs took full advantage of the forwards being in complete control and producing good, quick ball to run in tries from J. Rowles,T. Rideout, R. Martin and A. Mitchard. Prop, Mathew Edgell, scored two tries in the first half. The first outflanking the defence on the right wing before scoring and his second, a carbon copy of the first, but on the left wing.
The back row were not to be outdone, with Captain, Denning, scoring one try, but everyone was outshone by flanker, J. Button, who collected a hat trick. Fly half, Ben Taylor, topped a good day with the boot by adding eight conversions.
