A youthful Bristol Rovers side could not match a solid Paulton performance on Monday evening this week.
Paulton left back, Sam Teale, scored with a slick side foot after seven minutes from Aaron Brown's right-wing corner.
The home side lost Captain, Scott Brice, after only eleven minutes and young Craig Allen proved an adequate replacement.
Aaron Brown and his namesake, Cameron, were working well down both flanks and were involved as Mitchell Page twice went close and kept Fraser McDonald busy in the visitors' area.
Tom Knighton got through and chipped McDonald, only for right back, Sam Baker, to head off the line.
Paulton made it 2–0 on 39 minutes, when Shayne Anson found Ben Bament, who slipped the ball to Page, who turned and shot home.
Four minutes later, it was 3–0, as Bristol gave the ball away to Knighton, who fastened onto the ball to fire home.
Paulton continued to dominate and made it 4–0 on 54 minutes. Teale again was on target, with a superb header from Aaron Brown's equally superb right-wing corner.
Numerous chances were created by Paulton as they ran out the comfortable winners.
