On a showery day, Peasedown travelled to local rivals, Timsbury Athletic.
Peasedown started quickly and D. Reynolds played N. Hulford in, but his shot was well saved by B. Paisley. Peasedown kept pressing and C. Walton had a shot blocked by D. Murphy, but the ball bobbled around in the area and D. Reynolds' snapshot went over.
Peasedown's pressure paid off when C. Pile played a one-two with N. Hulford and struck his low shot into the bottom corner for 1–0 on eight minutes.
Timsbury did get forward down the left and R. Gullock crossed and J. Woodland cleared with ease. Peasedown swept back up field with C. Pile crossing and N. Young's header was held under the bar by B. Paisley. D. Reynolds played a superb ball over the Timsbury defence for C. Walton to run onto and as Paisley advanced from goal, tried a lob which dropped the wrong side of the post. Peasedown kept pressing and J. Stevens cracked the ball home to put them 2–0 up on seventeen minutes.
A rare attack by Timsbury saw M. Hancock's shot hit the side netting. In Peasedown's next attack, S. Newton (on his fiftieth appearance), struck a peach of a shot, which ballooned the net and the score 3–0 on 25 minutes. D. Reynolds then laid on a pass to S. Newton, who hit it first time and B. Paisley saved with his legs.
Peasedown were dominant and N. Young played C. Pile down the right, before cutting inside and his shot was blocked by A. Snook. Peasedown then scored a masterful goal when C. Pile won the ball on the halfway line and outstripped the defence before placing his shot wide of Paisley for 4–0 on 45 minutes.
Timsbury attacked from the kick-off and R. Gullock hit the post. Peasedown were back on the attack with J. Stevens finding D. Reynolds who advanced into the box, but his shot flew wide. T. Woodland's fine run down the right, shrugging off G. Dixon to provide a perfect cross which N. Hulford headed home for 5–0 on 53 minutes.
Timsbury bravely got forward and A. Turner brought a save from C. Allard. Back came Peasedown and C. Walton's fine effort from 25 yards shaved the wrong side of the post. J. Stevens crossed to N. Hulford who laid off to S. Newton and his ground shot was held by Paisley. C. Walton found S. Newton, who struck a sweet shot past B. Paisley for 6–0 on 63 minutes.
Peasedown were keeping up the tempo and M. Seviour's effort from distance flew over. Peasedown were rampant, with D. Reynolds laying on a pass to S. Newton and his powerful shot brought a good save from B. Paisley. For Timsbury, M. Spencer shot over. C. Pile brought a good save from Paisley and C. Walton passed to A. Bowring who blazed over. K. Seviour's fine run into the box was brought down by A. Snook and picked himself up and rammed home the penalty for 7–0 on eighty minutes. He then curled a beauty into the top corner to register 8–0 for Peasedown and his second on 82 minutes.
Timsbury didn't give up and their best player, A. Turner, put a great ball to M. Spencer, but he shot wide. Peasedown dominated from start to finish to register eight straight wins.
