To the casual onlooker, the Miners have had a very quiet summer, but a great deal has been going on behind the scenes and it is with great pride that the club is now able to announce a First Team kit sponsorship with a Radstock business for the first time in a number of years.

The club will proudly wear the Premier PKT Convenience Store brand after agreeing a deal with shop owners, Murali and Kagi.

Murali said: "After successfully trading in Radstock for nearly a year, Premier PKT feels that due to the great support of the local community, we would like to show our appreciation for that support and have decided to give something back by supporting the local football club.

"We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their continuing support and good luck to the club in the coming season."

In previous years, the club has had kit sponsorship from companies based in many parts of the country who all see football as a great way to gain brand recognition.

Club Secretary, Simon Wilkinson, said: "Murali and Kagi are really friendly and generous people and it's fantastic for the club that a local business is willing to invest in this way and we hope that the partnership will be a long and mutually successful one."
