Despite the miserable weather, Midsomer Norton Rugby Club managed to squeeze in a charity match between Christmas and New Year, which resembled something of a mudbath by the end! The game was to commemorate Junior Coach, Mike Hibbard, who died a number of years ago. It was between his former Junior Team members, a number of whom hadn't played for around ten years, and the current Third Team. The Thirds ran out the winners, but the result wasn't important and a raffle afterwards raised around £200 for the Junior Section.
