The Thirds gained an emphatic win on Saturday against a hard-working Chard side.
Ultimately, it was Norton’s youth and speed that made the difference, as they looked dangerous in open spaces.
Norton’s Man of the Match was number eight, Steve Dunster, who proved nearly-unstoppable on the day as he ran in five tries. The cold, wet conditions didn’t help handling, but Norton still managed to run in ten tries in total.
Winger, Liam Shaw, capped an excellent game with a well-finished try, coupled with a brace for fly-half, Jon Swift. The try of the day was saved for scrum-half, Greg Morgan, who fielded a kick off and raced the length of the pitch to score.
Swift added two conversions, and centre, Luke Murphy, was successful with four more to seal the win.
