In the midst of wet, unsettled weather, the members of Fosseway Seniors' golf section were fortunate to have a dry, warm day for their October Medal. The winner, with a nett score of 63, was Malcolm Tucker. In second place was John Appleton, with a nett 66, with Denis White third on 67.
There is now a break from organised competitions until the Turkey Trot event on Thursday, 14th November. Meanwhile the Winter League is in full swing but, unfortunately, John Williams and Secretary, Ray Lake, have had to withdraw from their groups. The Monthly Medal takes place on November 21st with the Presentation Lunch the following Sunday, November 24th.
