Martyn Pugh, his sons Dylan and Rhys, plus Freya Keirl scored a handsome ninety seven points to take first place. Our junior section is our future and competitions such as this are a real sign of our inclusiveness and investment in the coming years.

Junior Thursday Stableford was won by Rhys Pugh with fifty points and congratulations to Rhys for getting his handicap under thirty five for the first time, a drop of eight shots since the end of April. Freya Keirl won the Junior Competition with forty four points.

The Mens’ Senior Section held The Dave Parsons Trophy in warm but blustery conditions. Thirty five players made up the field.

The winner on the Dave Parsons Trophy was Roger Webber with thirty nine points. Roger won Division One and Andy Williams won Division Two with thirty eight points.

The Senior Mens’ team had a convincing home win against Kingsdown 5½ -½.

The Ladies Alliance team lost 9-5 away at Mendip Spring with wins for Sandy Heath and Katrina Foote and a hard fought draw for Cath Levell.

Club night was won by Toby Cole with a 12-hole score of twenty nine points and the nearest the pin was won by Guy Timson with a putt of more than eighty-feet from the top of the fifteenth green into the twelth hole.
