After being at the heart of Norton Radstock Swimming Club for the past eighteen years, Kay Willcox hung up her goggles for the last time as Head Coach on Wednesday, 15th December.
Kay had dedicated this time as a volunteer and has had a positive impact on every swimmer that has been at the club, which caters for swimmers at all levels, from swim development to competitive swimming. She has given countless hours to the club poolside as the head coach, as well as spending most of her weekends with the swimmers at galas.
The NRSC committee, along with swimmers and parents, gathered on Wednesday, 15th December to say a fond farewell and thank you, presenting Kay with gifts and flowers. Kay’s levels of commitment is clear, as she stayed in post until new coaching provision was in place and she can now rest easy, knowing that the club is in very capable hands that will provide some exciting opportunities for the swimmers.
We thank you again Kay, for everything, from your swimmers at NRSC.
