Radstock & Midsomer Norton Lions Club are delighted that the sensory garden at the Midsomer Norton Town Park is not only still blooming lovely, it is seeing plenty of footfall.
The club always wanted to leave a lasting legacy for the town where people could enjoy the quiet and reflective sensory garden behind St Chads surgery at the entrance of the Town Park.
The club would like to thank David the Town Warden who has worked hard to keep it looking fabulous all year round. David has had to replace a few plants over the years and we understand that the deer also enjoy the garden, especially the roses! Despite these gardening challenges it looks amazing and has become a great community asset.
The garden is easily accessible and a delight to the senses.
Those that haven’t visited yet are in for a treat.
Lions are happy that many people have spent time enjoying this delightful garden and it will continue to blossom for future generations. Sarah Oughton
