THE police are calling on people to come forward after receiving a “high volume of reports” of youth-related crime in Midsomer Norton high street area.
The Radstock Neighbourhood Policing Team are currently investigating five separate incidents, including criminal damage, theft and arson.
CCTV footage identifies some of the individuals involved, and police urge anyone with information that could help their investigations to come forward using the crime reference number 522519015.
A spokesperson for the Bath Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “The Radstock Neighbourhood Team has been receiving a high volume of reports regarding youths involved in criminal activity around Midsomer Norton High street. Currently, investigations are underway for five separate incidents, including arson, criminal damage, and theft.
“Your help is needed! CCTV footage has already identified some of the individuals involved, and we urge anyone with information to come forward.”
They added: “A message to parents and carers: We strongly encourage you to speak with your children about their whereabouts and behaviour when out in the community.
“It's crucial that we all work together to ensure the safety and well-being of our local area.”
