Although the Rotary new year commenced on 1st July, the Rotary Club of Midsomer Norton & Radstock had to postpone their celebratory President’s Night due to Covid restrictions. However, they were finally able to gather at The Centurion in Midsomer Norton with a ‘Razzle Dazzle’ themed celebration.

Due to the many restrictions the pandemic brought to the 2020–21 Rotary year, Nick Candy was asked to continue as Club President for an additional year.

As President, Nick wishes to see the goals he set for the last Rotary year come to fruition in this new Rotary year. He commented: “We continue to look at creative and fun ways of fundraising; we need to ensure we are involved in the community and helping out where we can. We need to generate new members that bring about what our club and what Rotary is all about. And one of the most important goals is to continue our theme that Rotary needs to be fun, with a purpose.”

The club is excited to be celebrating its 65th
