Neighbours, family and friends organised a fun-filled street party with cakes, games and laughter as they celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in the form of a traditional street party.
Susan Smart, one of the organisers of the event told The Journal: “Thank you to Barry More and Janine and Mike Baker for working together to organise such an enjoyable afternoon filled with lunch and cream teams.
“It was a very lovely get together where every one chatted and met one another. What a great opportunity to meet the new neighbours.
“We played games including Royal Pass the Parcel and Giant Jenga. All the neighbours brought food and cakes.”
