Bloomfield Care Home, in Paulton, held not just one, but two celebrations last Saturday – one for the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, but the second officially marking the home’s refurbishment.
Paulton Parish Council Chair, Anne Lyons, had the honour of cutting the celebratory ribbon marking the huge effort by contractors, joined by the new General Manager, Damon Drummond, who will oversee the running of the 102-bed home and be responsible for a team of 95. He has been at the home since December and hopes to hold regularly local events and activities for residents and surrounding neighbours.
Ami Livesey, the Regional Operations Director for the South West, said: “We are committed to providing high quality care, and I really think Damon will be a big hit with our residents.”
