Cinema returns to Midsomer Norton Town Hall on Saturday, 22nd October with a blockbuster double bill starting with The Angry Birds Movie at 2.30 p.m. followed by Love & Friendship at 7.30 p.m.
First up is the hit animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie – where we finally find out exactly why the birds are so angry!
In the evening will be a screening of the critically acclaimed period comedy, Love & Friendship starring Kate Beckinsale, Chloë Sevigny, Xavier Samuel and Stephen Fry. Based on Jane Austin’s comic gem, this period drama follows
beautiful young widow, Lady Susan Vernon’s visits to the estate of her in-laws. Here, she waits out the colourful rumours about her dalliances circulating through polite society.
There are more films already announced for November including The BFG, Me Before You and a special screening of The Battle of the Somme (1916).
