A health services survey, specifically for people from ethnic minority backgrounds, has been launched by Bath Ethnic Minority Senior Citizens Association (BEMSCA).

The survey is designed to capture feedback on peoples experiences of accessing health and wellbeing services, part of research undertaken by BEMSCA funded by Bath and North East Somerset Public Health and the Contain Outbreak Management Fund.

The COMF project has already involved BEMSCA delivering informal drop-in events in Midsomer Norton and Radstock, with a further event planned for Keynsham in the next few weeks. BEMSCA have developed special materials that enable people who don’t speak English as their first language, to talk about their experiences of accessing health care in a relaxed and sensitive way, without the formality of an online survey.

Anyone interested in completing the online health care survey can find it in the BEMSCA Projects section on their website, as well as promoted through their social media. Anyone interested in receiving support to provide their feedback can call BEMSCA on: 01225 464165 or: [email protected]. The survey is scheduled to close on March 15th.
