On Thursday, 21st February, some of Paulton’s younger residents brought their scooters and bikes and waited for a break in the clouds to formally open the improved BMX track.

The track, which residents had been consulted on in 2016, has been completely refurbished, widened and resurfaced and a new berm added and the grass reseeded.

Due to the hot summer it took a while for the grass to grow, but it now looks great! Ashton Toone and Paulton Parish

Council’s Groundsman, Paul Davidson, held the ribbon; it was cut by Kitty Howson, accompanied by Eli Stott and friends.
