More books and bookish items for every bibliophile.

Bookbarn is looking forward to throwing open the doors once again after an 11 week break for it’s Hallatrow-based bookshop as a result of COVID-19.

The renowned bookshop and cafe have long been a haven for local-booklovers and a ‘must-visit’ destination for bibliophiles from across the UK and even beyond! Far from resting during the enforced retail break however, the Bookbarn team have taken the opportunity to continue the regeneration and redecoration of the bookshop space and in doing so increase the number of books available as well as make them easier to discover.

Bookbarn CEO, Nick Bates said “Like many businesses the break caused by the corona virus has caused massive disruption both to sales and the running of the Bookbarn business, but our staff have taken the opportunity to create what we think is a better space with more books but that keeps the charm of Bookbarn that people know and love”

Bookbarn has also taken the opportunity to look to the future. “We already work with local groups and charities and those links have shown themselves crucial in our plans for the future.” Nick went on: “By shopping with us our customers not only show themselves to be booklovers but also that they’re aware of the circular economy and the importance of little decisions about how and where to spend and the potential to do good in those decisions. We’re determined to do more locally with positive environmental impact that fulfills our tagline of Reuse | Read | Recycle.”
