Avon and Somerset Police say they are sad to confirm a body has been found during the search for missing man Kenneth Scotcher.

Mr Scotcher was reported missing from his Nunney home on Thursday (21st June).

Although formal identification hasn’t taken place we have informed his family. Our thoughts are with them.

In a statement, Mr Scotcher’s family said: "We’d like to thank everyone who was involved in the search for Kenneth and have supported us at this difficult time.

"We’d especially like to thank Bluebird Care, the police and everyone from the local community who were out searching for him."
