A Christmas Donation Collection will be held at Radstock Football Club at 10am-1pm on Saturday, November 28th.

If you can spare any items that could help those most in need this Christmas, then please bring them along. The main items needed are non-perishable foods, like soups, canned vegetables and pasta, as well as toiletries like shower gel, flannels and sanitary items.

Members of Radstock Town FC will be on hand to collect the items from 10am-1pm on the day, before delivering the collection to social care partners across the town.

“This is something we feel strongly about as a club,” said Ryan Child, Radstock Town’s Manager. “The players are keen to help the local community during this lockdown, and have volunteered their time to collect, sort and deliver the donations.”

A number of Radstock’s players are from the area and wanted to give something back.

Luke Ingram, Radstock’s Captain said: “I’m a local lad and feel pretty strongly that we should be helping the local community at a time when a lot of people are struggling because of the virus and Christmas coming up.”

There is car parking on site and social distancing measures will be in place to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
