Probably our most difficult Mystery Photograph yet – last week’s photo, which came to us courtesy of David Salvidge, was taken in Paulton, looking at the main road before Elm Road/Spring Ground Road. It left many of you baffled – well done to Paul Hancock and Kate Ellam who did get it right though – gold star for you both!
This week’s photograph has also been sent in to us by a reader from a local archive.
If you think you can guess the location of the photograph (right), and would like a mention, email: [email protected] or via Facebook or Twitter @MNR Journal. You can even send us a photograph of what the scene looks like today.
A very big thank you to Radstock Museum who continue to support this feature so well in partnership with The Journal. We will be dipping back in to their archives soon!
Don’t forget the ‘Memories over Elevenses’ event at the museum, which is held on the first Friday of the month from 10.30 a.m. until 12 noon, where visitors can bring old photographs,
objects and documents and share your stories and knowledge with the team. Complementary tea, coffee and cakes are on offer – please bring along a friend, or make some new ones!
