Last week, we were back in Radstock on Upper Frome Hill. Lots of you were in touch with the correct answer – we enjoy hearing your stories of the various debates you are having, and of course, your memories.

A couple of you identified your homes in this photograph. Terry Reakes, who also sent us a photograph of how the scene looks today, says: “This week’s mystery photo is the A362 Frome Road Radstock. The appearance of the houses has not changed much, but in the photograph the road looks an unclassified track and the A362 is yet to be constructed.

“The contrast between the then ‘road’ and the present integrated A362 show there is no comparison; we have moved on. Incidentally, my wife and I live on the road. We have been living there since 1979 – we did not intend to stay, but nevertheless, we are still there in our dotage!”
