Arguably the most eagerly anticipated thing about The Journal returning? Yes, the Mystery Photograph is back to cause hours of debate amongst you all. It was one of the first things people would mention to us all – after saying how much we had been missed... of course!

A big thank you to this week’s Mystery Photograph providers, who will remain anonymous until next week, incase you guess.

We had to go back through some notes left at the end of March (when time stood still) to try and find the last photograph that we featured. It showed an unusual view of Middle Pit, Radstock, taken looking towards Coombend from Clandown, thought to be around 1920. Thanks to Radstock Museum for providing this picture and for their ongoing support. The museum is currently opening on Sundays and Wednesdays from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and has been treated with a virus barrier. There is also a one-way system in place, hand sanitiser and track and trace in effect.

Well done to those who guessed the pre-lockdown photograph correctly! Terry Reakes, Paul
