Last week Radstock Museum were looking for information on the photograph taken below. Thank you to Gilmour Jones, who wonders if it could show the Radstock Coal and Wagon Works Brass Band, which was founded in 1881 by a Mr Clark. He says: “This may help as starting point!” Over to you, Radstock Museum!

An easier one this week and a brilliant one at that – but can you guess where it was taken? Thanks to the Museum for their continued support of this feature.

If you know where it was taken and would like a mention, contact us at The Journal, email: [email protected].

Radstock Museum reopens this week on Wednesday, 2nd June for three days a week (Wednesday and Sunday 2 pm – 5 pm and Saturdays 11 am –

5 pm). The museum shop will be open but the tea room remains closed until the week commencing 5th July, when normal days and opening hours will

resume.

There will be an admission holiday for three months with free entry for all visitors during June, July and August – any annual tickets disrupted due to lockdowns and closure will be valid from September and will have a new expiry date added to them.
