Local performing arts students are appealing for people to share their memories and stories of the Radstock area during World War II to help them with a performance project.
First year students at BDC Bath Dance College have to create a performance based on the history of the area as part of their BTEC studies. They are researching and gathering information about the area and are looking for those who could help them with any information or resources that could be used in their research or performance, whether this is a book, photographs, songs, or personal experiences from WWII.
The performance, ‘We’ll Meet Again’, will consist of dancing, acting and singing and is aimed at entertaining people and their relatives who were alive during the war. “The war affected people in so many ways,” says student, Natalie Foskett.
“We want this performance to be a tribute to those who lived through these times and really hope people come forward to help us.” If you can help, please phone: 01761 438885 or email: [email protected]
