Neil and Nicky Halford, from Coleford, Founders of the charity, Time is Precious, met up with Patron of the charity, actor Simon Pegg, last Friday, as he visited staff and patients at Bristol Children's Hospital. Whilst he was there, Simon found out how equipment donated by Time is Precious benefits local families and staff at the hospital.

During his visit to the city, the actor returned to his old university and opened the new 'Pegg Studio Theatre' at Bristol University, named in his honour by its students.

The next Time is Precious fundraising event will be held on Sunday, 7th June, giving participants the opportunity to walk for a loved one, with their 'Memory Walk', which travels from Bath to Paulton via the Two Tunnels. Choose from a five, ten or fifteen mile route. Entry fee includes a packed lunch and there is no minimum sponsorship.
