The Christmas Fair at Stratton on the Fosse Village Hall on Sunday, 24th November was a huge success and raised over £1,400 for SWALLOW Charity, supporting teenagers and adults with learning disabilities to live life to the full.

SWALLOW would like to thank Rachel Broadway and her family for organising the annual fair in aid of SWALLOW.

SWALLOW had a stall and sold items that had been handcrafted by SWALLOW members with learning disabilities. These unique items always prove very popular as Christmas gifts. They are made as part of SWALLOW’s Work Skills Enterprise programme, enabling people to explore their creativity, build skills, and make and sell their work in the community. SWALLOW member, Paul, said: “I’m really pleased to help out on the SWALLOW stall - it’s a great Christmas Fair”.

SWALLOW has since spent two days in the charity chalet at Bath Christmas Market, which was a fantastic experience for members and staff alike.
