Visitors will be welcomed to Clutton’s Flower Show this Saturday (14th) to examine the wonderful flower, vegetable and bonsai entries.

Also displayed will be floral art, cookery, crafts, photography, children’s entries and cakes entered in the Great Clutton Bake Off category! We promise to amaze you at the standard of entries on show, as the judges always congratulate the growers and others on their entries.

The entertainment in the large show ring will include the Clutton strongman, a tug of war competition, ferret racing, dog show, dog agility demonstration, horse riding (if the horses are sound), and a parade of old cars and tractors.

A magician will be performing tricks and for the children, Elsa will be entertaining all afternoon. Homemade cakes and teas will offer a welcome sit down while Rebel Brass perform, and the thirsty can adjourn to the licensed bar.

The show will be opened by local garden celebrity, Mary Payne, at 2 pm and the field will open at 1 pm. Entry is by cash only at £2.50 per adult, accompanied children under fourteen are free. We look forward to seeing you soon. Pat Williams
