After a sell-out visit earlier in the year, one of London’s most recognisable entertainers returns to the Town Hall in Midsomer Norton for a couple of hours of song and laughter guaranteed to brighten up the gloomiest of evenings, and banish the back-to-work blues!

Join Mr Tom Carradine at the ‘old joanna’ as he recaptures the flavour and atmosphere of the good old knees-up (in the Cockney tradition), with an evening of Cockney classics, wartime singalongs, music hall medleys and old favourites from across the years.

A great evening’s entertainment for all ages, with plenty of your favourite songs, some songs you’ve forgotten you ever knew, and songs which you never knew but will take until the end of time to get out of your head! Everything from Flanagan and Allen to Rodgers and Hammerstein, from Noel Coward to the Hokey Cokey! TripAdvisor described it as “a fabulous night out... a night of sheer enjoyment.”

Since its launch in 2014, Carradine’s Cockney Sing-a-long has rapidly become a fixture on the UK’s vintage scene and is playing sell-out dates in the main auditorium of Wilton’s Music Hall in London, monthly dates at Cahoots, a residency at Mr Fogg’s Tavern in the West End, Scallywag Café in Tunbridge Wells and Emporium in Brighton. Tom is in huge demand for vintage events, corporate events and at private parties all over the country, recently seen alongside The Jive Aces at the War and Peace Revival Festival in Kent, and the renowned Twinwood Vintage Festival.

Tickets for the event, which takes place on Friday, 22nd September at 7.30 p.m. can be purchased at: www.ticketsource.co.uk/merrimantheatre or from: 01761 414957. The Town Hall’s fully licensed Sarah Ann bar will be open throughout the evening.
