The Quartet Community Foundation has kicked off a local fundraising campaign to help local charities, communities and volunteer groups through the outbreak.

The foundation aims to bring people, who want to help the local community, together. Awarding a thousand grants each year, Quartet Community Foundation support hundreds of thousands of people through local frontline charities and voluntary groups.

They have recently launched a ‘Coronavirus 2020 Response Fund,’ which sees people’s donations going towards supporting the local community in this time of need. Sue Turner, Quartet’s CEO, said: “Your generous donation will help some of our most disadvantaged communities in the coming months and will support the many hundreds of amazing local causes that do so much all year round.”

Groups can apply for up to £5,000 funding to help their communities cope with the pandemic.
