Norton Down Methodist Church
Our worship on Sunday May 3 was led by Barry Speddings. It was lovely to have two children worshipping with us.
On Wednesday we are visiting a local care home taking our coffee morning to them.
Next Sunday May 10 we will be welcoming David Parker to lead our worship. All are welcome to join us. Our church service commences at 10.30am and we hope to be welcoming you to join in.

Tabor Independent Methodist Church
After playing at Tabor’s 161th year Anniversary, The Tabor Ringers paid a visit to Beechcroft Residential Home in Midsomer Norton where they were warmly welcomed. Three sections of a variety of music were played with recitations by Mrs Barbara Lawson in the intervals.
One resident, who was obviously very well-versed in music, was very interested in how our music was composed. The group have been invited to play for the residents of Pondsmead Care Home in Oakhill on May 11.
The next Service at Tabor will be held on May 10, at 3pm when, once again, Mrs Rosanna Blewett will be welcomed. The Service will feature The Paulton Concert Band leading the hymns and also playing a variety of music. Please come along for an enjoyable afternoon.
All are welcome to any of our services or events, details of which are on the noticeboard outside of the Church in North Road, Timsbury.

Farewell to Waterside Benefice curate
THE service on Sunday, April 6, was bitter sweet.
This was a joint benefice service at which a congregation of 75 adults and children said farewell to our curate Nathanael Worsley; but was also an opportunity to thank him for his service to St Peter’s and to St Nicholas and the whole community of Radstock and Westfield. Nathanael’s family, Danielle his wife and Maya his daughter, joined him at the end of the service when members of the congregation laid hands on them, to pray them on their way to Cheshire with blessings, love and best wishes.
