Trinity Methodist Church
On Sunday, September 28, we visited Chew Stoke Methodist Church and joined them for morning worship, which was led by our Minister, Rev David Winstanley. We thank them for their warm welcome and hospitality.
The Saturday coffee morning was well supported and raised £400 for Macmillan.
Sunday morning worship at 10.30am will be led by Rev John Hayes. All are welcome.

Tabor Independent Methodist Church, Timsbury
Mr Tim Moxham made a welcome return to Tabor recently and based his service around his own experience of keeping and looking after sheep. He gave us an insight into the mentality of sheep and how they recognise their shepherd. He linked his talk with passages from the Bible portraying Jesus as the Good Shepherd, but also showed that there can be a number of bad ones who may run away if there is danger. As the Good Shepherd, Jesus was willing to give up his life for his “sheep.”
Reminder: Our Harvest Service is at 3pm on Sunday, October 12. Mrs M West will lead the service with items from Paulton Concert Band, who will also play for some of the hymns.
There will be a short talk from a member of The Somer Valley Foodbank, where non-perishable items will be donated. Donations can be brought to the church between 3pm to 4pm on Saturday, October 11, or to the service on Sunday.
Anyone is welcome to join our church services, held fortnightly, or other events – details of which can be found on the noticeboard outside the church in North Road, Timsbury.
Plans for the next Creative Space event are just under way. These events provide a welcome opportunity to explore a variety of creative activities, try something new, meet new people, engage with faith through creativity, and enjoy plenty of tea, coffee, and cake, along with a light lunch. All of this is free for those aged 12 and over.
The event will take place on November 8 from 9.45am to 2pm.
