THE October coffee morning was held jointly with Timsbury Royal British Legion at their hall. As this was during half-term a number of children attended and they were kept busy with their own activities whilst the adults enjoyed a chat over light refreshments.

The next joint venture is a Christmas Bazaar on November 22. Please put this date in your diaries. More details to follow.

Over the coming weeks, The Tabor Ringers will be kept quite busy with various bookings, the first one being at Combe Leigh in Midsomer Norton in the near future.

All are welcome at any of our services or events, details of which are on the noticeboard outside of the church in North Road, Timsbury.

MORNING worship on Sunday, November 2, was led by Mike Honey.

The service focused on St Luke's account of Zacchaeus the Tax Collector. It was hard not to sing the chorus we all learned in Sunday School as children, encouraging Zacchaeus to come down from the tree!

All usual sessions will continue during the week. Saturday morning coffee is served from 10am. Sunday morning worship at 10.30am will be led by Rev Marcus Torchon. All are welcome.

JOIN us at our free 5K run or walk events on the first Saturday of every month. These are free timed events for the community to encourage runners and walkers to be active and enjoy our beautiful Town Park. Registration, refreshments and toilets will be at the Somer Centre. This is a free timed 5k Community Run in Midsomer Norton Town Park. Organised by the Welton Church Runners and supported by the Midsomer Norton Town Council. Refreshments and toilets will be available at the Somer Centre. Children under 12 must be within reach of a responsible adult/parent or guardian who is also running. Registration at the Somer Centre from 8.15am.
