Tabor Independent Methodist Church

THE traditional carol service, led by Mr Eric Barge on the last Sunday before Christmas, was well attended. The Tabor Ringers played four carols on the handbells and chimes, and Mr Alec Shute provided the music for the service on the organ.

Mrs Margaret West was scheduled to lead the Christmas Day service, but as she was unwell, it was member-led. As Margaret was still feeling under the weather, Mr Eric Barge stepped in to officiate at the first service of 2026, a Covenant Service with Holy Communion.

The Tabor Ringers are now enjoying a well-earned rest after fulfilling many engagements during the run-up to Christmas. Rehearsals will resume in February.

The next service will take place at 11am on January 18. All are welcome at any of our services or events; details are on the noticeboard outside the church on North Road, Timsbury.
