A COLLECTION is being made for the next van delivery to Ukraine.
Items can be brought along to St John’s Church Hall, Midsomer Norton on Saturday, October 31 between 10am and 12 midday.
Clothing, shoes, bedding, blankets, towels, toiletries, candles, toys and cookware are all welcome and should be bagged up separately and labelled. Donations of sweets, such as Haribo will be wrapped for local children.
A spokesperson said: “As the deliveries to Ukraine are personally taken, anything deemed a blessing is packed into the van.
“Any money donations are passed on for fuel. The quicker the vans are filled with fuel, the quicker they set off on their journeys.
“Thank you all in anticipation for your time, energy and generosity for this collection.”
