Eleanor told The Journal: “This photo was taken in 1913. The Somervale Road did not exist then, and the Rectory garden stretched back to the railway line. You can see the horse chestnut trees which are still there.

“This is the Clandown Church (Holy Trinity) football team with Canon Bax, the Rector of St Nicholas Church, Radstock.

“The photo was given me by the late Graham Smith of Bath Old Road. I think his father is in the photograph.”

Thank you to Shaun Dudden who said: “I think the photo is Radstock football team from either 1911 or 1913, but definitely pre First World War!

“The man with the top hat is my grandad, but I am not sure if it is on my mum or dad’s side. My family tree has been traced back to 552 with relatives working for Queen Mary.

“Later relatives were local miners as well with the family names of Dudden and Gulliford.”

Can you guess where we are in this week’s Mystery Photograph? A huge thank you to Jeff Parsons for sending it in.
