A meeting to discuss the future of Midsomer Norton’s High Street is taking place this
Thursday evening, 2nd March, at the Town Hall’s Assembly Room starting at 7.30 p.m.
Following discussions in The Journal in recent weeks, it was decided to hold a meeting for business owners and residents to put forward positive and constructive ideas to help the town thrive, reclaiming and rejuvenating the High Street. The meeting is being organised by the Midsomer Norton Community Trust, Midsomer Norton Society, the Somer Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Town Council.
A brief history of the challenges that the town has faced over the years are likely to be topics for discussion; plus the challenges ahead, and organisers are looking for people who are looking to make a positive change who can volunteer their time to help – from any walk of life. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, not just from Midsomer
