A LOCAL business was among the lucky few to take away a top accolade at this year’s British Business Awards.

The Dynisma team based in Barrow Gurney clinched the ‘Leadership Team of the Year’ award during a memorable ceremony.

Held on Thursday, April 30, at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the awards highlighted some of the UK’s most recognisable and leading companies. The event also featured special guest George Clooney and helped to raise almost £2-million for homelessness charity Social Bite.

The awards, held in association with NatWest, recognise businesses demonstrating exceptional leadership, innovation and commercial performance across the UK. With hundreds of entries submitted this year, the competition was once again highly competitive, with Dynisma recognised for the strength, alignment and execution of its leadership team in driving sustained growth and operational excellence.

Dynisma, is a multi-award-winning developer of high-performance Driver-in-the-Loop simulators, and its leadership team has successfully scaled the business from a specialist engineering start-up into a global supplier of advanced simulation technology.

They support programmes across motorsport and automotive, as well as research and development applications worldwide. This growth has been underpinned by continued investment in people, processes and infrastructure.

The judging panel ultimately recognised Dynisma’s ability to combine deep technical innovation with disciplined leadership and strong commercial execution, building a resilient organisation capable of scaling globally while maintaining engineering quality and delivery performance.
