THE majority of Year 13 students at Chew Valley School were celebrating getting the results needed to gain offers for university and apprenticeships.

Although the school opted not to highlight specific individual achievements from their students, staff expressed their pride in the futures that their students will soon have.

Gareth Beynon, headteacher, said: “It has wonderful seeing them collect the results in our library this morning with people who mean so much to them in attendance so that they have been able to share the experience.”

Harriet John, the head of Sixth Form said: “It has been a privilege to work with the students throughout their time in Chew Valley Sixth Form and we wish them the very best of luck in all their next steps."
