Longvernal School Hall was buzzing with excitement on the morning of Friday, 5th April, as children brought in their entries for the various PTA-organised Easter competitions – Easter Bonnet, Easter Garden and 2D-Easter Egg.

There were nearly ninety entries of a really high standard, showing a huge amount of creativity. Deputy Mayor of Midsomer Norton, Alastair Slade, kindly agreed to judge the Easter competition.

Alastair was overwhelmed by the quality of the entries, saying: “I didn’t know it would be so difficult to choose!” Children were awarded prizes in their weekly Celebration Assembly and parents were invited to view the colourful exhibition during the afternoon.
