Bath and North East Somerset Councillors for Peasedown St John, Karen Walker and Sarah Bevan (Independent), were invited along to re-open The Learning Tree Day Nursery in Peasedown St John on Monday, 30th April, following extension and refurbishment works.
Joined by local Primary School Headteacher, Damian Knollys, and former B&NES Councillor, Nathan Hartley, they were able to see how fantastic the building is now looking.
Karen and Sarah said: “K.C. Hicks & Son, who built the nursery’s extension, have done an extremely professional job in creating a welcoming space that is very much in keeping with the natural environment.
“The new front extension looks wonderful and easily allows anyone that visits the nursery to feel relaxed and at peace as soon as they enter the grounds.
“Congratulations to Jessica Baxter and her team for running an outstanding local nursery that parents and children want to be a part of.”
Karen and Sarah were also joined by residents from Eckweek Road who came along to the celebration event. Tea, coffee and specially-made nursery cupcakes were served.
