High Littleton Pre-School, a charity run group set in Holy Trinity Church, are looking toward the festive season with the launch of their Christmas Raffle.

The Pre-School are in real need of local support in order to be able to keep the charity-run group going and to continue to look after the seventeen plus children who attend.

Tickets for the raffle went on sale at the start of November, with incredible prizes being given to the winners, thanks to the very generous donations from local businesses.

Karen Grinham, pre-school leader, told The Journal: “We would love to see as many people involved in this as possible. Like many, times are hard and costs are going up.

“We would love to take the children on trips again and bring in equipment to help our children with special educational needs.

“All of the funds will go directly to bettering the pre-school as local children really need places like ours, especially after the pandemic, as it has affected so many of their social development skills.”

Charlotte Curtis, deputy leader, said: “We would like to thank Jess and the committee who have put the raffle together. A strong committee is the thing that keeps us going.

“Thank you also to all the businesses for their very generous donations.”

Contact Jess Wareham on: [email protected] to get your £1 raffle ticket, or visit the pre-school from 9 am – 3pm every week day. Please be advised the pre-school is closed on Thursdays.

Raffle prizes include gift vouchers for toys, Amazon, M&S, treats and cakes, meal vouchers at local restaurants, play vouchers, a horse riding prize, hair and beauty treats and a twilight spa prize amongst many others. The draw will take place on 12th December.
