Peasedown St John Primary School held a “Crazy Hair Day” where the children came to school sporting a variety of extravagant hair styles.

The day was organised by the school Parent School Association, and the money raised will be donated to the school to finance various projects.

Over the past year they have organised, among other things, a Scarecrow trail, Halloween trail, a Christmas lights trail, raffles and mufti days. They have sold Christmas activity packs, tote bags and Christmas cards, and in doing so have raised nearly £5,000 this year alone and already have an exciting programme planned.

The money raised has been used to purchase books for the library, play equipment and playground improvements, sports kits and has also helped to subsidised educational trips.

At the end of a very busy school year, we want to extend a huge “thank you” to our dedicated, hardworking PSA. Linda Day
