The Victoria Hall Acoustic Sessions returns this Saturday, 17th September, from 7 p.m., with the up-and-coming Emi McDade, the first headliner of the new season, and plenty of open mic performers booked in to kick the evening off.

The first sessions of the season will take place directly after the Radstock and Westfield Big Local’s latest Dragon’s Den event, which will take place from 4.30 p.m. upstairs at Victoria Hall with a chance for local groups to pitch ideas for local

projects that could see them funded by prizes up to £500 each. The Dragon’s Den event is free to attend, with The Acoustic Sessions then beginning at 7 p.m. downstairs.

Since her music career began in 2013, 19-year-old Emi’s music has taken her travelling throughout the UK. She hasreceived extensive radio play, performed in session on the

Dermot O’Leary Show on BBC2, and became a featured artist on Noel Edmund’s Positively Talented. To book an open mic spot for the night, please email: [email protected]
