A BRAND-new series of relaxed, family-friendly festivals are being launched this July and August.
Mendip Basecamp has announced the launch of Mendip Mini Fests as part of their Summer of Entertainment.
The exclusive mini festivals will be included at no extra charge for all campsite guests, offering a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere with live music and entertainment set against the backdrop of the Mendip Hills.
David Eddins, CEO of Mendip Adventure, said: ”After the incredible response to our Mendip Family Festival last summer, we wanted to do something really special for our campers this summer.

“We've decided to run six mini festivals instead of one!
“Mendip Mini Fests are all about creating those unforgettable summer evenings - live music, great atmosphere, and families enjoying time together in the outdoors.”
Mendip Mini Fests will take place on selected weekends throughout July and August, exclusively for guests staying at Mendip Basecamp.
The incredible line-up has recently been announced, with headline bands including: The Sam Evans Band, The Lipinskis, The Missing Cat Band, Aardvarks, Supervision, and Station2Station.
Alongside live music, guests can enjoy entertainment like storytelling, face painting, outdoor workshops, and circus skills, all set within Mendip Basecamp’s 250-acre estate.

Mendip Basecamp has also launched a talent competition as a part of Mendip Mini Fests, inviting performers to step into the spotlight with a 30-minute set on the brand-new Bandwagon stage.
The initiative aims to showcase emerging acts and celebrate local creativity.
Located in the heart of the Mendip Hills, the site is an an award-winning campsite named Best Campsite in Bristol, Bath and Somerset in 2023, and second-best in the South West Tourism Awards.
It began as a school activity camp, and opened to families in July 2020 when schools closed during the pandemic.
