CRANDON Springs Care Home in Wells is inviting members of the local community to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, refreshments, and activities at its upcoming Summer Fair.

On Saturday, August 9, the event is scheduled to take place in the garden of Crandon Springs Care Home, with a wet weather plan in place to allow the fair to proceed in the event of rain. The care home is located in central Wells and is accessible to visitors of all ages and abilities.

Planned activities include live musical entertainment, the sale of homemade cakes and refreshments, and a variety of stalls offering items, games, and activities. A raffle and bottle tombola are also set to take place, with a range of prizes available.

Meg Cleal, Crandon Springs Manager, said: “We regularly hold community events at our home to connect with local people and share good times with residents, family, friends and guests. The Summer Fair and our other events also provide a glimpse into the vibrant life and compassionate care at Crandon Springs, and this can reassure those who are considering residential care that our home is a lovely, kind and safe place to live. We’re looking forward to welcoming new visitors and existing friends on Saturday 9 August, so if you’re free please join us.”

Those wishing to attend the Summer Fair can either visit on the day or contact Crandon Springs Care Home in advance to help organisers plan catering. The care home is located on Glastonbury Road, Wells (BA5 1WE), and can be reached by phone at 01749 685180 or via email at [email protected].
