Kilmersdon Art group are holding an exhibition in Kilmersdon Village Hall on Saturday, 17th June from 10 am - 4pm.
The work on display dates back to 2019 when the group embarked on a project about climate change. This was sadly curtailed due to Covid lockdown. Whilst following strict rules on group gatherings, members were still able to meet occasionally during the summer months to sketch in each other’s gardens until regular classes resumed at the village hall in September 2021.
Since then, the group has had a range of workshops with visiting artists who have demonstrated in different mediums.
The group also produced artworks celebrating the Jubilee in 2022. In addition to the work displayed on the walls and panels you will also be able look through individual folders and sketch books.
Some paintings and members’ greetings cards will be on sale.
Refreshments with delicious homemade cakes will be available. All profits from the exhibition will go to charity. The group hope that it will be a relaxed and friendly day. All visitors are welcome to come and look. Entry is free.
